The brief

Character design for a children's book on social and emotional learning, worked from a list of behaviors each assigned to an animal.

Every behavior became a scene, warm and legible, so the book reads as one continuous story rather than a set of lessons.

The book's character sheet: the owl, the raccoon, the rabbit, the sloth, the snail and the fox, each in several poses.
